Data Deletion – otech 1.0

At OTECH Microfinance Bank, we respect your right to privacy and control over your personal information. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, you may request deletion by contacting us.

1. How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your account and personal data, please send an email to:

Include the following details in your request:

• Your full name
• Registered phone number
• Registered email address
• Your account number

2. What Happens After Your Request

• Your account will be flagged for review and deletion within **7–14 business days**.
• We will delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we are legally required to retain certain data (e.g., financial records, KYC/AML compliance).
• Once your account is deleted, it cannot be restored, and you will no longer be able to access the otech 1.0 mobile banking app.

3. Exceptions

In some cases, we may be required by law or regulatory obligations to retain certain records even after deletion is requested. These may include transaction records, KYC verification details, or financial compliance documents.
